INTRODUCTION OF SR CELL
In such a challenging world, an academic institution plays a much greater role in a students life than just the traditional role of teaching and knowledge dissemination. BTU truly believes that each individual can make a difference to the world we live in. The Social Responsibility Cell allows students to do just that, together with shaping their personality to become mature and rational citizens. The Social Responsibility Cell is formed to undertake the challenge of creating socially responsible global citizens.OBJECTIVES

• To nurture students as citizens with moral, ethical and social and environmental values so as to provide service to the society through activities and discharge their obligations towards the society.
• To get aware about the actual problems of society and applying their skills and knowledge for social development.
• Willing to accept new challenges and new roles such that they learn to work collaboratively and are able to become leaders in their own right.
• Aware of the community we belong to and the responsibility and commitments associated with the betterment of our society.
• Balanced individuals who enjoy and find significance in a range of activities involving physical, intellectual, spiritual, creative and emotional experiences.
• The Social Responsibility Cell allows students to do just that, together with shaping their personality to become mature and rational citizens. It is time now, that we find our own little ways to inspire hope.

FUNCTION
• To create awareness among students and staff towards our responsibility for societal and environmental development,.
• To arrange celebration of festival with unprivileged school children, Orphanage, Old homage, etc.
• To create awareness among labours working in nearby industries regarding their rights and financial schemes relevant to them.
• To conduct various programmes for women empowerment like financial literacy awareness programmes, sanitary napkin distribution
• To arrange visits of unprivileged school children to our institution labs.
• To arrange the donation of clothes, food, toys, stationary etc. to unprivileged children
• To arrange training/awareness programs for unprivileged school children, Orphanage, Old homage, etc.
• To develop need based educational projects for unprivileged school students, Orphanage, Old homage, etc.
• To organize various competitions for unprivileged school children to motivate them .
• To undertake activities, schemes for rural development.
• To plan and execute projects for differently abled persons.
• Visits to well-known NGO’s across Rajasthan.
• To arrange seminars/lectures by social workers for our SR cell faculty and students.
