Bikaner Technical University was established by University of Bikaner Act ,2017(Act No .29 of 2017). It is located in the campus of University College of Engineering & Technology UCET Bikaner in RIICO Karni Industrial Area. In a short span of two years it is one of the reputed Institutes with latest teaching methodologies. Grooming their students as better citizen with human values is all what is in their minds. Last but not the least providing a vibrant campus life for experiential learning.

Initially one of the main purpose of University was to share the work load with Rajasthan Technical University (RTU) which is located in Kota. Further shouldering the responsibilities of 12 districts of Western Rajasthan with implementation of new courses and Research Programs. The Technical Institutes of Bikaner Division Jodhpur Division, Ajmer Division (District Nagaur, Ajmer) Jaipur Division (District Alwar, Sikar and Jhunjhunu) are under the administrative and Academic Control of BTU. Commencement of first session took place in 2018.

After the appointment Of the Registrar M.L. Chauhan In Bikaner Technical University, The Governor Of Rajasthan, Kalyan Singh appointed The First Vice- Chancellor, Prof. H.D. Charan, Of Bikaner Technical University for a period Of Three Years. Prof. Hakam Dan Charan was Dean Of Academics and Professor at The Rajasthan Technical University with M.Tech and Ph.D. as Qualifications.

Under The Guidance Of Prof. H.D. Charan, BTU Will Be Responsible For The Proper Working And Functionality Of The 42 Different Engineering, Management. Computer Applications & Architecture Colleges In The Regions Of Bikaner, Jodhpur, Jaipur (Sikar, Jhunjhunu, Alwar) And Ajmer. Total 42 Colleges, 1 is University Constituent College “University College of Engineering & Technology”,4 Colleges are State Government Autonomous College and 37 are Private Engineering Colleges.

BTU logo is a symbol that represents an organization i.e Bikaner Technical University. The Logo is simple and impactful which capture viewer’s attentions and leave an impression in their memories. It is versatile in nature and look equally good on any web device and on any kind of print material. It has a relevant meaning that relates to the organization. In Centre, the University seal is there which represents BTU in artistic manner which makes the logo unique and exclusive. The words BTU are placed in such a way that they represents the following features:

a) The bottom of “b” has been given the shape of earth.
Brown color of “b” is a natural color that evokes a sense of strength and reliability. It’s often seen as solid, much like the earth, and it’s a color often associated with dependability, security, and safety.

b) At the junction of two legs of “t” the rising sun indicates that
The university is intend to spread light amongst the people to make them enlighten with the advances in technology and the concern of the university is towards the solar energy/ non-conventional energy.

c) “U” represents the magnet/ magnetic field, producing the electricity
which is the symbol of energy. The Red color of “U” is associated with passion, desire, energy and determination.

d) “t” is written in a way that its horizontal line represents the water coming out from the earth (natural resources)
And gives the message of showing concern of university towards the conservation of water/natural resources. Blue color of “t” suggests peace. It’s the color of the calm sea and the clear sky, both of which are linked to inner serenity, calm and clarity.

e.) At the centre of “b” is the holy pic of “Shree Karni Mata” who laid the foundation stone of Garh Palace
And by the blessings of her Rao Bika established the city of Bikaner in 1488. From the characteristics of Karni Mata we get the message & enlightenment about the environment conservation, women upliftment, mankind bliss, social equality, cow safeguard, humanity and Justice. Due to these extraordinary ethos and wondrous personality the world famous temple dedicated to Karni Mata is at Deshnoke 30 km from Bikaner which is known as the Rats Temple

The outer border carries the name of University in Hindi and English both, showing the concern about the mother tongue of our Nation. The bottom pedestal carries the year of establishment and the tag line of university i.e. ????? ??????? ????? which shows the determination of University to produce Intellectual Engineers with high Ethical values to serve the Society and Nation as whole.
