Faculty & University Center of Human Value Education in BTU
In very first year of its establishment, BTU has started a separate ‘Faculty on Human Value Education’. The main steps faculty has taken are-
- Setting up of ‘University Center’ and 5 ‘Nodal Centers’ at –
- Aryabhatta Engineering College & Research Center, Ajmer
- Institute of Engineering & Technology, Alwar
- JIET College of Engineering, Jodhpur
- Pratap Institute of Technology & Science, Sikar
- University College of Engineering & Technology, Bikaner
- HV cell at all colleges and coordinators have been appointed for managing UHV activities at every college
- Included UHV as a mandatory course in all its academic program i.e. B Tech, M Tech, MBA, MCA etc.
- Option has been given to the students to write paper of this subject in Hindi language also.
- Faculty of Human Value Education has conducted ‘Seven’ 8-days Level-1 and one Refresher level workshops and trained 300 faculty and 43 faculty members respectively.
- Also conducted 3-days UHV workshops to train the Teachers/ Mentors for Universal Human Values (UHV) for students Induction Programme (SIP) and 160 teachers have been trained to act as a mentor in each institute under BTU.
- One 3-Days dedicated SIP workshop has been conducted only for the chairman, Directors, Principals and Dean of the BTU affiliated colleges and after this workshop the work UHV has accelerated.
- Student's workshop at Nodal Centershas also started.
- During lockdown period University Center of BTU is organising online UHV workshops for all its students and response from the students’ is very encouraging. Self motivated UHV team of BTU is working for these workshops in addition to their day to day work.
